Marta Brown Magaw, LMBT (NC License #799) is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist licensed by the NC Massage Board and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She has been doing massage for 12 years.
Marta graduated from the Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh in 1998 and Sewanee: The University of the South in 1987. After completing massage school, she did advanced training in prenatal, postpartum, and infant massage (Nurturing the Mother), sports massage and orthopedic assessment (OMERI). In addition, she has taken courses in neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, various forms of energy work, including Reiki, and many other continuing education classes (totaling more hours than massage school itself).
